Artwork & Design Guidelines

At Clever Creations, every order is custom made just for you. Providing quality artwork helps ensure your finished apparel looks its absolute best. Please review the guidelines below before placing your order.


Artwork Requirements

For the best print quality, we recommend submitting artwork that is:

  • 300 DPI (high resolution)
  • PNG, PDF, SVG, AI, or EPS format whenever possible
  • Transparent background (preferred for logos)

If your image appears blurry, pixelated, or low quality when viewed on your computer or phone, it will print the same way on your apparel. Unfortunately, printing cannot improve the quality of a low-resolution image.

If you’re unsure whether your artwork is suitable for printing, feel free to send it to us before ordering—we’re happy to help.


AI-Generated Artwork

AI is an excellent tool for creating ideas and concepts, but most AI-generated images are not created in a resolution suitable for professional apparel printing.

If you’d like to use AI artwork, we can recreate or prepare your design for print to ensure the highest possible quality. Artwork preparation fees may apply.

Need help creating your design? We’ve got you covered.

Included with Your Order

No additional charge.

  • Text-only designs
  • Font selection
  • Simple layouts
  • Basic clip art or simple graphics
  • Minor design adjustments

Custom Design – $20

Perfect for designs that require a little more creativity.

Examples include:

  • Multiple text elements
  • Multiple graphics
  • Custom layouts
  • Design created from your ideas
  • Up to two revisions

Complex Design – $40

For projects requiring additional design time and creativity.

Examples include:

  • Layered artwork
  • Multiple design concepts
  • Detailed graphics
  • Complex layouts
  • Extensive editing or creative development

Artwork Recreation – $50

If your logo or image isn’t print-ready, we can professionally recreate it for production.

This service is ideal for:

  • Low-resolution logos
  • Screenshots
  • Blurry or pixelated images
  • AI-generated artwork
  • Logos pulled from websites or social media
  • Artwork that needs to be recreated as high-quality, print-ready files


Color Matching

Printed apparel may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.

Digital screens display colors using the RGB color system, while our Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing process uses CMYK inks. Because these color systems are different, slight variations in color are normal and should be expected.

We always strive to produce vibrant, accurate prints while maintaining the highest quality possible.
